Delete a User Account via passmgmt

· Solaris & Sun · Files & disks · Users & security

You can also delete a user account via passmgmt. However, you will have to delete the home directory manually. Here's an example.

# passmgmt -d esofthub
# more /etc/passwd | grep esofthub
# more /etc/shadow | grep esofthub
# rm -r /export/home/esofthub
