MYSYSAD.COM is a free, browser-based toolkit built for system administrators, DevOps engineers, security professionals, and developers. The platform provides over 75 interactive utilities spanning network engineering, security analysis, infrastructure design, log forensics, credential management, image editing, AI-powered incident response, and general sysadmin productivity β all running entirely client-side in your browser with no server-side processing of your data.
The platform encompasses two tiers of tooling:
Standard Tools β fast, in-page utilities for everyday tasks:
Advanced Tools β full-featured standalone applications embedded in the platform:
Standalone AI-Powered Tools β full-page tools that use your own API keys for AI features:
By accessing MYSYSAD.COM β including browsing the site, opening any tool, running any script, processing any file, or otherwise interacting with the platform in any way β you ("User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all users regardless of whether they have a registered account.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site following any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
The tools on this platform are designed to assist trained system administrators and technical professionals. They are not designed or intended for use by untrained personnel, in regulated critical infrastructure, in clinical environments, or in any context where errors could cause bodily harm, financial loss, legal liability, or irreversible damage to systems or data.
MYSYSAD.COM expressly disclaims all responsibility for any adverse action, system failure, data loss, security breach, regulatory violation, service interruption, or any other negative outcome β direct or indirect β arising from:
The following categories of tools carry specific risks that users must fully understand before use:
Network & Security Analysis Tools (CIDR Calculator, DNS Lookup, SSL Checker, Security Header Tester, PKI Inspector, DNS Propagation, IP Reputation, WHOIS Lookup): These tools may make outbound network requests from your browser to third-party APIs and public registries. Results reflect point-in-time data from third-party resolvers and APIs. The WHOIS tool queries public RDAP registries β do not look up sensitive internal hostnames. Do not rely solely on these tools for production infrastructure decisions or security assessments.
Credential & Token Tools (JWT Decoder, SSH Key Generator, Password Generator, SSO Autopsy, Hash Generator): Cryptographic operations are performed locally in your browser. MYSYSAD.COM does not store, transmit, or have visibility into any credentials, tokens, keys, or hashes you process. You are solely responsible for the security of any sensitive material you input. Do not use browser-generated keys for high-assurance or regulated environments without independent verification.
Code & Script Execution (Python Sandbox, Scripts Library, Command Scanner): The Python Sandbox executes code in a sandboxed browser environment. Scripts from the Scripts Library are provided as-is examples. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any code before execution in any environment. MYSYSAD.COM is not liable for any consequences of executing scripts on your systems.
Infrastructure Planning Tools (Visual VPC Planner, NetBuilder Pro, K8s Manifest Builder, Systemd Generator, Terraform Analyzer, Compose Visualizer, NGINX Simulator): Outputs are design aids and starting points, not production-ready configurations. All generated infrastructure code, manifests, unit files, and configurations must be reviewed, validated, and tested by qualified engineers before deployment.
Log & Forensic Tools (Log Analyzer, Log Query Builder, Log Scrubber, OOM Autopsy, Line Patcher, WebRSW Pro): These tools process files locally in your browser. You are responsible for ensuring that any log data, images, or files you process do not contain third-party sensitive information that you are not authorized to handle. Redaction and scrubbing tools provide a best-effort output and do not guarantee complete removal of all sensitive data.
File System Access Tools (Photo Organizer, Log Analyzer, WebRSW Pro, Line Patcher): Tools that use the browser's File System Access API can read from and write to files and directories on your local device. You grant this access explicitly via browser permission prompts. You are solely responsible for the files you select, the operations you authorize, and any resulting changes to your file system, including permanent deletions.
SSH Tunnel Builder & Connection Builder: Configurations generated by these tools describe network connectivity operations. Executing generated SSH tunnel commands or connection strings against systems you do not own or are not authorized to access may violate computer access laws. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have proper authorization before acting on any generated configuration.
AI-Powered Tools (AI Log Diagnosis, Incident Commander): These tools use your own API keys (stored in your browser's localStorage) to make direct requests from your browser to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Azure OpenAI). Your log data, incident timeline, and scratchpad content are sent directly from your browser to the AI provider β never through MYSYSAD servers. You are solely responsible for: (a) reviewing your organization's policies on sending system logs to external AI services; (b) redacting sensitive credentials, internal IPs, or PII before submitting logs for AI analysis; (c) the security and rotation of your API keys; (d) any costs incurred through your API usage. AI-generated diagnoses, postmortems, and recommendations are starting points for investigation, not authoritative conclusions.

The MYSYSAD.COM News page aggregates publicly available content from multiple third-party sources. Your browser makes direct network requests to the following services when you view the News page:
reddit.com/r/{subreddit}/top.json. Reddit receives your IP address and standard HTTP headers. See Reddit Privacy Policy.hn.algolia.com/api/v1/search_by_date. Algolia receives your IP address and query parameters. See Algolia Privacy Policy./api/feeds endpoint, which server-side fetches RSS content from government agencies (CISA, NVD), security publishers (Krebs on Security), and technology outlets (LWN). The proxy does not log your queries or IP address, but the hosting provider (Vercel) may collect standard server access logs per Vercel's Privacy Policy.Jobs Feed: The News page includes a Jobs tab that aggregates remote sysadmin job listings from multiple third-party sources. Your browser makes requests to the MYSYSAD /api/jobs endpoint, which server-side fetches job data from:
Job listings are aggregated and scored for relevance. MYSYSAD.COM does not apply to jobs on your behalf, collect your employment data, or share your information with job providers. Clicking a job link takes you directly to the third-party job listing.
Tools (100% Client-Side): Every tool on MYSYSAD.COM β including all 30 inline tools and all 47 advanced tools β executes entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No input data, tool output, file content, credentials, tokens, images, logs, or configuration you process in any tool is ever transmitted to MYSYSAD servers. A small number of tools make direct browser-to-third-party requests as documented below.
News & Jobs Feed (External Connections): The News page is the primary exception to the client-side-only architecture. When you visit the News page, your browser makes network requests to external services as described in Section 7 above. The Jobs tab within the News page fetches aggregated job listings from a MYSYSAD server-side endpoint (/api/jobs) which queries Hacker News, Remotive, Jobicy, and We Work Remotely.
localStorage and IndexedDB: Used to persist user preferences, tool configurations, pinned tools, scratchpad content, and session state locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to any MYSYSAD server and remains under your exclusive control. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.
File System Access API: Tools that interact with your local file system (Photo Organizer, WebRSW Pro, Line Patcher, Log Analyzer, Scratchpad disk sync) do so via the browser's File System Access API. You grant access explicitly per-session via browser permission prompts. File contents are processed entirely in-browser and are never uploaded to or accessible by any server.
Third-Party Network Requests (Tools): A small number of tools (DNS Lookup, SSL Checker, IP Reputation, DNS Propagation, MAC Lookup, SSL Certificate Checker, SSL Forensics, WHOIS Lookup) make outbound network requests from your browser directly to third-party APIs, DNS resolvers, or public RDAP registries to perform their function. These requests originate from your browser, not from MYSYSAD servers. They may expose your IP address and query data to those third-party services. The WHOIS tool queries public RDAP endpoints (Verisign, Google, and other TLD registries). Consult the relevant third party's privacy policy for details.
AI-Powered Tools (BYOK β Bring Your Own Key): The AI Log Diagnosis and Incident Commander tools can optionally connect to third-party AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Azure OpenAI) using API keys you provide and store in your browser's localStorage. When you use AI features, your input data (logs, timeline events, scratchpad content) is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you selected β never through MYSYSAD servers. MYSYSAD does not have access to your API keys or the data you send. You are responsible for reviewing what data you submit, the costs incurred through your API usage, and compliance with your organization's data handling policies.
External Resources: The platform loads fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from cdnjs.cloudflare.com. Standard browser telemetry may be shared with these providers per their respective policies. No MYSYSAD-specific user data is included in these requests.
